Student Trustee Election Intent to Run

The University of Connecticut Board of Trustees Student Representative Intent to Run (Application Part 1)
  • According to Article 1, Section A of the Student Trustee Election Committee By-Laws, “the purpose of the Student Trustee Election Committee (STEC) is to initiate, administer, and supervise a fair and efficient student trustee election each year or as required.” In the course of assessing candidate eligibility and/or reviewing compliance with campaign and election policies and rules, STEC members may need to review certain student records. In addition to any information directly submitted to the committee by a prospective or actual candidate, the following records may be accessed or obtained by STEC members in coordination with University staff on an as needed basis. For the limited purposes of determining candidate eligibility: • Academic Transcript • Conduct History For the purposes of reviewing compliance with campaign and election policies and rules: • On-Campus Reservations Requests • On-Campus Posting Applications • Any relevant records documenting use of UConn resources during the campaign and election
